About TTP

In 2003 Malc decided it was time to put his knowledge and experience into practise and opened TTP Performance. Setting his workshops up in Bromsgrove, where he built facilities to build race cars - set up suspension - rolling road tuning and all the other jargen in this website! As TTP grew rapidly, Malc set about gathering a great team to deliver trackside support in the UK and through-out Europe.

During our time we have run a variation of cars from caterham superlights to formula junior (see gallery). 2004 was the year we started trackside support, running Rachid Basuber and John Cooper (Skid Carrera) in there superlights. 2005 saw the arrival of Rod Begbie and his 1963 TVR Grantura (678 EFR) which we ran in the Equipe GTS, Swinging Sixties and Gentleman Drivers with great success.

We approached the 2007 season to run a pair of Funcup Beetles. With a little reconstruction the infamous #14 beetle was ready for a full assault on the 2008 Championship under TTP's alter ego Matrix Racing. This season also brought with it another TVR Grantura (APH 223 B). After a major rebuild this was ready for 2008 Spa 6 hr, where it was joined by a Mk1 Lotus Cortina dressed in Alan Mann livery. As the 2008 season came to a very successful finish, it was decided that our Funcup beetles where put to one side to make way for a TTP built Mk1 Mini Cooper 'S'. Also joining the 2009 line up was a Gemini MK2 Front Formula Junior.

The 2009 season has been by far the most successful season in our history with more wins than we can list here. The most successful cars in our care are the TVR's of Rod Begbie and Ian Bankhurst.
